ALTMUN 2019 Secretariat

MARIANA SUÁREZ
Secretary General
Mariana is a second year IB student that enjoys learning about International Relations and Economics. While she enjoys MUN as a whole, she is very passionate about the Press Corps committee. Outside of writing articles and planning updates, she enjoys doodling in her bullet journal, reading and taking her dog on walks. She is very excited to see how delegates follow through their state or non-state actor's policies and is excited to see the creative updates and resolutions of the committees.

MARÍA JOSÉ GORDILLO
Deputy Secretary General
Majo is a second year IB student. She has participated in a variety of committees in MUN as she is very flexible and has many interests. She has represented press agencies, NGOs, and countries in different committees throughout her MUN career. Some other interests of hers are doing makeup, debate and hanging out with her dog. She is very enthusiastic about the development of the conference, how delegates will come up with funding ideas for their proposals, and is very excited to see creativity flow throughout the committees.

ANDREW MECHEM
Faculty Advisor
Mr. Mechem is our delegation's Faculty Advisor, autocorrect, psychologist, and friend. Even though he has been involved in MUN for several years, he arrived at our school a year ago, and we are glad he did. Outside of MUN, Mr. Mechem is an English and Debate teacher, cat owner and enthusiast of learning new things. He loves pushing his students in order for them to reach their full potential and always supports new ideas. He is very excited to hear everyone's proposals on the urgent issues being discussed during the conference.

TATIANA CHEREPANOVA
Faculty Advisor
Miss Tatiana is new to our school and has been part of the team only for a few months, but sh has been able to contribute greatly to the conference and our delegation. She is currently training the younger members of our delegation. She has also been a delegate, participating as part of the delegation of Peruvian Universities in Harvard MUN 2020.
YOLANDA MENESES
Faculty Advisor
Miss Yoli has been our number one cheerleader since day one. She has been our Faculty Advisor for the past several years, and has been rooting for us since the beginning. Outside of MUN, she enjoys playing and spending time with her cat, reading, and learning about global politics. We call her a ninja because she's able to sneak in and out of every committee without us noticing, and she knows everything. She is looking forward to seeing everyone during the conference and listen to creative ideas and proposals.
